OK, I'm taking leadership again. Hope no one hates me. ( Hey my b-day is three days after RC's. What can I say, we're bossy but dammit we get things done! )
1 - FRU contest closes Friday Sept 22, Midnight US Pacific Time. That should cover everyone - anyone in Hawaii? ?
2 - I'll read through and tally on Sat, and post results that day sometime. ( I'm US Central Time, two hours ahead of Pacific...)
3 - I'll start a separate thread for tallying... to post votes and results. I'll take the two who voted here and take just your top two choices, OK? If you want to change, let me know...
4 - So I don't go crazy, let's all vote for a 1ST CHOICE, and an HONORABLE MENTION. If we all vote for a million, I'll go crazy (meaning, "crazier" than I am).
This is the most fun I've had in months. I am laughing so hard I'm sick. Oh! BTW, Arian - the python shirt was hard for me to pass on....

I have just one question for Krissy..WHY did you waste so much ink and so much paper and such UGLY piccies? ?
My choices:
1 - Gotta be Arian's pimp suit with purple hat and what HAS to be the uglist shirt in the world ever, fake Hermes or no..those HUGE gold medallions..Jesus H. Christ..
2 - Really really hate this one..sarony's Elvis imitation..ugly Elvis hair, ugly Elvis sunnies and the ugliest moooooooo coat I've ever seen.
3- Tie for third..someone colorblind picked these out.
a - babzee's green shiny shiny, I mean really sadly shiny green suit...and Russy, sorry Hon, people don't wear rosaries around the neck.
b - yellow, and I mean really really bright yellow suit..even the blue shirt to match his eyes don't make up for it.
Unfortunately, as ugly as the shiny satin shirt is, whatever color it really is..Russ looks sooooo good in the leather pants that my eyes always travel down....so I can overlook the shiny shirt.

this damn thread is so ugly it crashed my Mac - I'm NOT kidding ! 
I printed them all out (my poor printer...) and I'm voting for a few - put my votes where they are most useful.
First choice - the one Sheeps and babzee both frued for me - it has NO redeeming value.
Second - sarony's # 2 - the pseudo-Elvis pic YUCK!
Third - Arian's "issues" pic &345 the python shirt and horrible glasses.
Honorable Mention - sarony's # 1 - he looks like Don Henley (not even a good looking Don Henley)
I'm not even going to bother voting for the Roman Antix one, bc they are both hideous in it.
I have one last question: Just how in the H*ll can such a gorgeous man have so many FUGLY pics so readily accessible? ?

My first choice is the "cow" jacket with the Elvis glasses. I honestly hope this is not his own jacket but just something they used for a photo shoot. Honourable mention is the black suit with the Versace-ish shirt and high school ring.

Well, it was hard to decide, but I must go with the Elvis moooooo jacket pic I nominated. Sooooo painfully bugly.

Ok, as much as I hate to go with the crowd. . . .
Worst: The Elvis ensemble. I thought he loved cows - or is that just his own . . .
Honorable Mention: I'll come back in a sec. Gotta be the Wolverine-wanna-be silver shirt and leather pants (more dead cows). Sorry, gals, the leather pants just do nuthin' for me.
I'm not choosing the 80s ones either bc they were perfectly "good-looking" at the time. But these others will NEVER look good, IMHO.
More: I think that the white suit with the red shirt is the worst fru I've ever scene. His feet just look so yucky in that one! The clothes don't bother me so much. And the colored suits are kind of cool. Don't get me wrong, he looks fab in navy, but I like bright colors myself. Always saw it as one of the few perks of being a women - you can wear lots of color.

FIRST CHOICE: Have to go against the majority here: the absolutely worst idea in men's clothing IMO: White Suits. YACHHH! ! Of the two here presented, I go for minime's ghastly affair: the suit and fuchsia shirt combo clinches it&33 And look at those shirt lapels! HELP!
HONORABLE MENTION: A difficult one. The moo jacket is right up there. The Roman Antix clothes I never really saw because I couldn't get past the hairdo! The white belt affair defeats description. But my obsession with colour wins out: Who let him out of the house wearing Arians contribution: Bright Bright SHINY yellow suit w/Bright Bright purple shirt! !

FIRST PLACE: The Yellow Suit with Violet Shirt. Omigod. Preparing to be caught in avalanche, perhaps? Easter egg meets Minnesota Vikings meets Tweety Bird. So, SO bad. The worst part is that he actually took some time picking out this ensemble. Young & stupid just can't explain this one.
HONORABLE MENTION: The silver shirt? Really not his style. The Green Shiny Suit with "Vatican Accessories" Equally disgusting. The John Travolta Saturday Night Fever Getup (minus footwear - what was he thinking? ) Wow. No words to describe. But my choice has to be the Cow Hyde Jacket with 70s Shades. Well, I think my vote has more to do with the overall image rather than the actual fugliness, since the Dead Cow Jacket obviously has to be one of the fugliest items of clothing know to Modern Man.
BUT - There was a reason why I nominated the picture that I did.
It's so totally "I don't have to make any sense or have any function, I'm cool and that is enough."
NOTHING in that picture makes sense - the couch looks like total style over substance and uncomfortable as well. TWO shirts? A WHITE suit? The stupid rings - two huge ones on one hand and a ring that doesn't fit on the forefinger of the other - who could do anything wearing that? Sunglasses indoors? And don't even get me started on the cigar!
Sorry to rant --maybe soon we can do a thread about the evils of valueing style over function ... but I digress, again!
My vote goes to the Elvis Killed My Cow and Turned It Into a Fugly Jacket FRU.

1st Place (casual bad dress day)) - the Roman Holiday ensemble of baggy, knit shorts, bright orange "Canon" tank t-shirt, and unmatched flannel shirt.
Honorable Mention (fancy bad dress day) - attending the friend's wedding in the Victorian powder blue coat with velvet collar, weird stand-up collar on shirt, cowboy boots, leather gloves and pants. Looks like he missed the casting call for Bonanza.
At least he hasn't been pictured in what looks like black dress socks like some of his bandmates in Austin were. Yet.

Sad to say narrowing the votes down to two is virtually impossible, but here's my vote:
1) Sarony''s infamous nom: the " I'm too sexy for my shades" and butt-ugly Elvis' - dead-cow-made-into-a-jacket fru.
(Hey, is this how those weird rumors a la "Russell wipes his brow with dead dog during concert" get started? So, how did Russell swipe the King's "stuffed" dead cow from Graceland anyway? )
