In the course of our search for photos, we found so many beautiful photographs, but not all worked for this site... Some were outstanding examples of photography, some showed unusually beautiful dogs. Some were amusing, but didn't fit in any of our categories. It was hard to limit our choices. But we wanted to take photos that show off the uniqueness of the greyhound personality. That being said, we left many special photos behind that we will long remember. The search has been a real joy.
If you have a greyhound photo you would like to submit for consideration, please do! But please adhere to the following guidelines, to make our job easier:
Thanks for visiting! We are grateful to all who provided photos for the Greyhound Gallery. Because this site is not for profit and the photo is posted once and not printed, no copyright violation exists. However, every effort is made to obtain permission for use of a photograph.
- Send your file in .jpg (.jpeg) format only.
- Include the name of the dog, and if possible any other dogs or people in the picture.
- Include the town and state, or country if other than the U.S.A., where the dog resides.
- If your dog is deceased, please let us know so that we can post the appropriate respects.
- Send your photo to this link and put "Greyhound Photo" in the header.
- If you would like a photo credit, or if the photo was taken by a professional photographer, please incude the photographer's name.
- Make certain that we have your current email address.
