| ED 11A is one of the most intense class I've taken in Berkeley so far. Entitled "Introduction to Drawing", it is the first architecture studio class. As my instructor said, ED 11A is a "machine" that asks its students to produce the same drawings year after year... it's a weeder class. Using mediums such as pencil, ink, charcoal, and watercolor, I practiced various drawing techniques like perspective, overlap, scale, light/shadow, and one space to another. I drew until my hand (and head) almost fell off. But in the end, I have a few drawings to show for... |
