Alan North of Bower North Productions is
undergoing treatment for a small cell lung cancer. In spite of his illness, he
has retained his good spirits and sense of humor. He writes, "I've sent
this note to let you know That even with radiation's glow, I've yet to grow to
Godzilla's size, Casting lightning with my eyes. I haven't shrunk, my parts are
fine, And nothing extra that isn't mine. There is one secret that they keep.
When being zapped you tend to sleep. So if I'm slow to thank you all, It's
because the z's do call."
On a personal note, many thanks to all the
support I have received since the passing of my mother Doris on December 6. ---
