SCHELL TAKES 8TH PLACE FINISH AT STATE TOURNAMENT...... Greenon's Josh Schell won two matches to place 8th in the State Wrestling tournament in the 130 lb weight division. LAY AND SCHELL ADVANCE TO STATE MEET...... Greenon finished 4th out of 48 teams at the Goshen District as Josh Schell finished 1st in the 130lb class and Garrett Lay finished 2nd in the 119 lb calss for Knights. Both wrestler's qualified for the State wrestling meet next weekend at Columbus. Also wrestling for Greenon but not qualifying were Nick Anthony at 189 (5th place), Casey Wells at 152 (6th place), Jay Engle at 160, Travis Richardson at 215, and Matt Wolf at 285. SEVEN WRESTLERS ADVANCE TO DISTRICT TOURNAMENT...... Greenon had 7 wrestlers qualify for the District Wrestling Tournament next weekend at Goshen. Garrett Lay at 119, Josh Schell at 130, and Nick Anthony at 189 finished 2nd. Matt Wolf at 285 and Travis Richardson at 215 took 3rd. GREENON TAKES 3rd IN CBC LEAGUE TOURNAMENT.............. Greenon finished 3rd in the CBC League Tournament at Tipp City. Josh Schell at 130 and Nick Anthony at 189 both defeated Graham opponents in the championship match to capature 1st place in their division. GREENON TAKES 7th IN BEN LOGAN INVITATIONAL.............. Greenon finished 7th in the Wayne Invitational. Josh Schell (130) and Nick Anthony (189) both took 1st place in their weight class. Casey Wells (152), Jay Engle (160), and Travis Richardson (215) all finished 4th.
