The Greenon Knights wrestling team took 13th place out of 18 teams in Tiffin. Greenon placed five wrestlers in the tournament as Casey Wells took 1st place and Kevin Christensen took 4th place.
Freshman Casey Wells captured the first tournament championship of his young career as he defeated Eric Mayer of Groveport 12-8 in the championship match.
Sophomore Kevin Christensen was placed in a bracket that contained five wrestlers who had placed at the state tournament. Kevin was undefeated until the Semi - Finals when he lost by a score of 3-2 to Riner of Huntington, West Virginia. Kevin got to the consolation finals bracket where he lost to Schuller of Toledo Central Catholic in overtime by a score of 7-5.
