GREENON LOSES TRI-MEET WITH NORTHEASTERN AND MECHANICSBURG....

The Greenon Knights Wrestling Team lost to Mechcanicsburg 42-29 and Northeastern 66-12. Top Wrestlers for the night for Greenon were Sophomore Kevin Christensen and Freshman Casey Wells. Kevin went 2-0 as he won by medical default against Mechanicburg in his first match and then pinned his Northeastern opponent 20 seconds into the 2nd period of his final match. Casey Wells also won two matches for Greenon, as he pinned his Mechanicsburg opponent at 1:59 of the first period, and then pinned his Northeastern opponent 32 seconds into the second period. Wayne Harris also won a match for Greenon as he pinned his Mechanicsburg opponent at the 1:47 mark in the first period. Greenon was wrestling with a reduced squad due to the Flu bug.
