Beating the Bounds of Doncaster:

The Bounds of St. George's parish were well and truly beaten on Sunday 16th May 2004. Green Oak were there with the congregation of St. George's, the Cusworth Singers, the Doncaster Waites, the Ramblers and most importantly members of the public. Last seen in this parish in 1823!

Beating the Bounds will take place in 2005 on May Day Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May. Meet in churchyard at 10:45am. The event itself leaves at 11:00am and returns at 3:00pm for a 'bring your own' picnic. Refreshment is available at The Stag Inn, The Salutation Inn and The Leopard Inn en route. Everyone is very welcome to come and join in what promises to be a feast of fun, colour, and spectacle! For information please email Pete on [email protected] or telephone 07967 566761.
