Information:
Being the downgraded version of the
RX-78-2 Gundam, the GM does see a lot of action
in the Universal Century. It's based on the Gundam
design but with inferior thrusting capabilities, and
being made out of Titanium alloy. The face differs
because of its structure and the classic Gundam
V antenna is gone. The GM does not have the
extremely expensive Core Block system that the
Gundam had either. This GM set the base for GM
variations for the next 15 years.
