The Reluctant God

Lorna Padgett, a girl who reads heiroglyphics and speaks the anchient language of the egyptians. Ameni, an egyptian prince from four thousand years ago. Because of an anchient ritual to save his people from destruction, he is now stuck in her time trying to protect his people's souls. Only together can they prevail and together they find the truth that was always there.

"...Looking confused now, she replied in another language.
He tried again speaking his own language slowly and clearly. 'Please do not close me out. I am in great trouble and need to speak with someone.'
Slowly her look of confusion changed into surprise. She frowned, then awkwardly framed a sentence he could understand 'You speak this language?'
'I speak many languages, but today I have heard none of them. I heard you speak mine though, last night.'
Her expression changed again. A spark of recognition. She peered closely at his now smudged and dusty face. Unwinding the headcloth, he dropped it to the ground, then stepped out of the ragged robe until he was wearing only kilt, sandals, and amulet..."

My Opinion: This book just keeps moving as it goes from the perspective of Lorna to Ameni and back. Truely creative in its writing. The guys will like the action and adventure, but the girls will like the relationship and friendship of the characters. You will never guess what happens in the end!!!
