But he twists the truth into things that are wrong

A banana peel or a misdirected baseball
Walk off a cliff or get chased by a mob
A HERETIC cat and a Holy Righteous bulldog
 

A den of snakes, a hive of bees
Walking in the way of a beaver falling trees
If your picture is stuck to your door with a knife
Then you’d better run for your life

Cause the Hatgirl’s gone crazy and she’s on the run
And she draws cartoons about HERETICS for fun
A vat of hot oil or your head through a noose
She’s lost it and she’s on the loose
 

If your name should be either Becca or Tony
Or you are a member of the H.M.W.H.C.
Like the Raptor named Kolin
Or Matthew, Mark, Zach or Nick
You’d better run
Cause you just might be a HERETIC

An active volcano, a victim of Jaws
A python with fangs or a raptor with claws
Pushed off the Eiffel tower, swept down Niagara Falls
Hit by a semi-truck or a bowling ball

As an innocent victim of the He-Man Woman-Haters
I was called a HERETIC myself and thrown to alligators
They thought it was finished, they thought they had won
But the story had only begun

I prayed to the Lord and He shut the gators mouth
And my fellow women would come to pull me out
We tracked down the five who had left me for dead
And the alligator ate them instead
 

Great balls of fire that fall from the sky
Sudden bolts of lightening and you wonder why
If you find yourself pursued by a raging bull or Moby Dick
You’d best repent
Cause you just might be a HERETIC

You’ll be happy to know that since then I’ve relented
For every single HERETIC I’ve met has repented
They came to the alter to turn back from the past
On crutches, in slings and  in body casts
