Once the characters have a light source and have figured out how it works the can see that they are inside a large cave. The rock itself is black, and in many ways it looks similar to obsidian. There is no dust or debris anywhere in the cave, the air is perfectly still and surprisingly dry. It's dimensions are roughly 20'w by 30'l by 25'h. Other than the characters there is nothing to be found inside it.
However, any characters with a Telepathy based power, or extremely heightened senses will with an appropriate roll (PD: 2) will discover that the walls of the cave move ever so slightly. They do not move in any direction so much as they are constantly in a state of flux. The movement is slight enough to be invisible to the naked eye. To anyone who touches it the rock feels smoother than silk, to any character with heightened senses can se or feel that there are no imperfections or irregularites whatsoever, the stone is perfectly smooth. A precognative or clear character will sense nothing but formless change, awaiting potential, etc.
The characters will no doubt try to explore the cave, once they do, they will discover a tunnel leading out. The tunnel is large enough for them to walk in, and heads straight out of the cave. About ten feet into it, it splits and goes off in two seperate directions, which way do the characters go?
