The Black Water Pool

After walking about twenty feet down the tunnel it opens into a series of three caverns that each have a pool of water in them. In the first the water looks light green, in the second, it appears dark green, and in the third it is black.

The water in all caves has a very distintive property, it heals wounds in seconds, even fatal wounds. The light green water is the weakest, followed by the slightly stronger water in the second cave, the black water is the most powerful. In small quantities the black water can heal almost anything, it will also completely relax a character leveling them in a state of pure bliss for several minutes or more. An unwise character could easily becom addicted to the stuff (CD 4 not to). The water does one more thing, it leaves a visible mark on anyone that uses it to heal an open wound. These marks take the forms of ever changing tribal looking tattoos. The tattoos are perfect in every way, and even appear to almost float over the skin. They mark how much of the water is inside a character. There is no way to remove the water or the tattoos. (In my game an unlucky character ended up 60% covered in the tattoos, he'd had 60% of his body blown away and was saved only by the water.)

The water itself is pure chaos, creation waiting to happen. When small amounts are introduced to a human body it takes that bodies shape and repairs it. However, the same is true in the reverse, any character who immerses themselves in the water becomes pure chaos, or to put it bluntly dies in a very excurciating but quick way. Also, since it is chaos, any character with too much in their system begins to show signs of delusions. Whether it drives them crazy or puts them more intune with the holographic reality thus making them appear crazy is up to the ST.
