The Soldiers

ST Mission: Harm/Fear

All the soldiers on the Battlefield have on thing in common, they all wear the same uniform. The uniform is a non-descript grey, there are no markings of rank or country on them, infact nothing identifying at all. They come from all races and both genders, nothing seems to designate sides, in fact there aaren't sides at all. The soldiers will be too busy with the battle at first to notice the characters. Their only purpose is to kill and die. If the characters try to talk to one or reason with them, the soldiers will turn on them.

This should be an object lesson in fear and the horror of war for the characters. Describe the bleakness of the situation, the stench of the bodies, the screams of the dying, the grotesqueness of the butchered forms, the blood turning the dirt to mud, the smoke from the guns. Should the characters draw attention to themselves, make them work to get out, leave them in fear and don't be afraid to wound them in the process, don't ,however, kill them at this point unless they do something painfully stupid.
