Other Gimmicks: Mideon, Phinneas I. Godwinn, Dennis Knight of Southern Justice
WWF/WWE has a long tradition of show casing unappealing bodies in the most distrusting ways. You have the Bastion Booger oozing thru his ring attire, Rikishi’s fat thong wearing ass, and A-Train’s hairy back. So maybe it’s no surprise that the brain trust at WWF would come up with a nudist gimmick and give it to a flabby guy. After become a joke as Mideon, Dennis Knight forsook clothing and embraced the naturalness of nudity. Since you can’t actually have someone naked on primetime network television, Mr. Knight wore a flesh colored thong with a fanny pack to try to hide the fact that he really wasn’t completely nude. The only real note of interest in his career under this gimmick was a PPV title shot at William Regal’s European championship. Mideon was forced to wear pants in order to compete but they soon came off to the disgust of everyone.
