Strelitzia, a 1984 daughter of the beautiful stallion Nadejni. Bred by the late Mr J. van der Zwet 'Stal Skala' in Holland and imported in 1992. I fell in love with this mare when I first saw her as a 3 year old and it was a dream come true when I was able to purchase her five years later.
She is very much a female version of her great sire, renowned for his ability to pass on his gorgeous head, strong quarters and topline, and now Strelitzia is passing these qualities on to her progeny.
Show only once in this country: Res. Champion mare at HOCON 'C' Show, she has been such a treasured broodmare she has nothing to prove!
