| Dec. 21st, Happy Yule! Hope everyone is doing well. Absolutely NOTHING is going on with me. I am on winter break since I work for the school system and it is great! I go back to work on Jan. 4th!!! Today is Yule, so I did a small ritual with a candle. I want to do more formal rituals, but I'm so damn lazy. Maybe that should be a New Year Resolution, but technically, for me, New Years started on Samhain, LOL....but I still follow the other one for my official resolutions. Hope all of you have a great holiday, weather it be Christmas, Yule, Kwanzza, or Hannauka....or whatever else is out there to celebrate! I'm sure I spelled some of those wrong.... )0( |

| Dec. 26th, day after X-mas Well, even though I am not Christian, the rest of my family is...so I go to all their celebrations. They don't even mention anything about "Christ" so it's no big deal. Even though my family professes to be Christian, they are lacking in the actual practice of Christianity. Only my Grandmother is devout, I think I have mentioned this before ;p But, I don't get to see Granny except in July :( My husband (who is pagan and won't admit it), my son and myself all pile into the SUV and go to my aunts house on X-mas eve, eat goodies, drink, open presents (at 8PM), drink, listen to music, drink.... I received many goodies last night, and even more today when we opened gifts at home. I have no complaints :D My son had an excellent cache as well! My hubby's family doesn't exchange gifts....so I don't really work to hard on getting him anything, I did get him a guitar stand though, and some videos and games. Today is the 26th anniversary of my mothers death. Sux. )0( |
