| 1. Most Americans are arrogant idiots who are narrow minded, care about nothing but themselves, and have no tolerance for people different from them. (and this is coming from me, an American) 2. I have discovered that in many ways I am, well, weird...and you know what? This is ok, and I'm loving it. 3. Foreigners are the greatest people you will ever meet. Learn as much from them as they will learn from you. You'll realize that there is a world beyond your own, a wonderful world...and this will make you a better person. 4. Foreigners love to drink...and party...and drink...alot more than Americans. 5. Everyone is an asshole in one way or another...it's just some people show it more than others. Don't try to change them or reason with them...just ignore them. 6. Don't waste your time spending your emotions on people who are clearly not wasting their time spending their emotions on you. 7. When you leave home for awhile and come back, you realize who really loves and cares for you. 8. You will find your closest friends in the strangest of places. 9. Everyone says that money doesn't bring happiness...and this is true...but...having money does bring alot less stress. 10. Don't worry about what other people think...if people feel the need to talk shit about you, it's only because either A. they're jealous B. they're assholes or C. they are so bored with themselves that they have to pick on other people just to make themselves feel good. 11. Try to live life to the fullest...want to go on a trip? Save up money and go. Want to collect stamps or start knitting or do something else that seems trivial? Do it. It will open your mind, open your soul...and well, save the little sanity you have left. 12. Keep in touch with old friends and family...even if you can only do this every so couple of months cuz you're busy or you just forget or whatever...It's kinda fun catching up with someone you haven't talked to in forever. 13. Just listen to people, no matter what they have to say...you really might make their day. 14. It's amazing how it can take only one person, whom you hardly know, to totally inspire you, without them even really doing anything for you...and how it can take only one person, that you have known for a great part of your life, to almost completely destroy you. 15. Don't defend yourself, your actions, or personality traits to anyone who has known you for several years...If they think that you've done something that was wrong and totally out of your character, and you know that you didn't do anything wrong, fuck them. If they don't know you by now, you've wasted your breath on them. And chances are, they were never a true friend in the first place. 16. Try your best to not be a hypocrate...sometimes it's hard...but when it comes to what your morals are and what is important to you, it shouldn't be hard at all...Cuz when you're being a hypocrate, you look like an ass when you get caught. 17. Don't lie about major shit. People will find out the truth anyway, and it'll definitely bite you in the ass. People are going to hate you more if they had to find out from so and so that you did what and what. 18. Since when does a few-month shady ass relationship rule over a 9 year friendship? 19. I really love my friends and family...and miss them so much...I will never take them for granted ever again...and I will try to show them everytime that I see them how much I love them and appreciate them (ok not that kinda love, you sickos). 20. If you have lived in the same place all your life...move away for awhile, take a break, run away, even if it's only for a few months...you'll discover so many things about yourself and about life it's not even funny. I've realized now that even though I miss my friends and home so much, I definitely don't regret moving away one bit. |

| 1. Bad people never change...They just learn how to hide it better. 2. Never, under any circumstances, hook up with an ex. They're an ex for a reason, and if it didn't work out the first time, chances are, it wont work out a second time, either. 3. Did you know that if your credit/debit card doesn't read when you slide it, try putting a plastic bag over it and then slide it? It actually works! 4. Revenge is really sweet...I don't care what anybody says... 5. Don't ever underestimate the power of anyone...Even the nicest of people have a mean streak when provoked...and sometimes they can do more damage than any of the meanest people out there...so watch out!!!! |
