MICE!.
Okay, so I’m a soft touch. I fell in love with 4 baby boy mice. I bought them a superb tank and home they came. They rule the roost now! The cats sit totally mesmerised by them, the dog thinks they are amazing, too. So here they are. Love ‘em or loathe ‘em, they’re my little lads and they are a delight!
When I clean them out (every other day) I have an avid audience who try hard to play with the little scraps which are tormenting them through the Perspex!
They are named Coffee, Cream, Tea and Milo. And yes, I can tell one from the other!

This is Cream, looking out of the wheel. The orange toadstool is a water fountain for them, which they love!

Teak and Cherrie are avid mouse-watchers!

They love having another channel on Cat TV! Now they have several extra choices!

Even Kauri likes this game!

A little blurry, but this shows you Coffee and the backside of Tea!

And very blurry, this is Milo, emerging from their nest! The giant toadstool has all they need to be comfortable and is fully washable, which makes my life a lot easier and a LOT less stinky! Boy mice DO smell if they aren’t cleaned out frequently!
Added in 2007. The 4 mice all died within about 4 months of one another. Cream was the last to go. All died of old age, peacefully, and were cremated. I did bring home two others before the shop closed. One is black, white and a beige underbelly and he is called Minstrel. His companion, a lovely chocolate and white boy, is Piper. They are unrelated, merely a good friend and sparring partner! Currently they are 2 years old, enjoying retirement in closely placed appartments, eating, drinking and sleeping, with a little paper tearing for exercise!
