Continue on through Taieri Mouth, heading along the dirt road toward Milton, and hidden in a valley is Akatore Creek.
Here Heath finds great delight in swimming despite the fact that at times the current seems to pull him in two directions.
The water is usually crystal clear and in places so deep that he swims effortlessly, gliding along with the current.
