Products: Insulation Corkboard

Corkboard was invented in 1892 for the main purpose of insulating cold storage areas and buildings and other installations requiring efficient insulation. It consists of various sizes of cork granules which are compressed together under a high temperature causing the cork granules to expand and giving them a dark brown color.

In the past decades corkboard has also been used as a decorative item for walls and ceilings. It has the additional property of improving the insulation and the sound proofing. We also have available a special grade corkboard which is ideal for the manufacturing of decoys for decorative and hunting purposes.
