Tam Early was brought up
in Cranhill and was a late starter when
it came to playing guitar and singing,
but he always loved trying to be the main
attraction. Tam tried his
hand at being an MC, and also thought of
himself as a bit of a dancer. So from a
young age, the "frontman" in
him was determined to shine!
Although
being into dance music, Tam loved to
chill out to Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The
Stone Roses, and The Rolling Stones.
He
first picked up a guitar after hearing
'Roll With it' by Oasis, and started to
sing as he thought he was better than
Liam Gallagher. He then discovered the
voice of Kurt Cobain and this helped Tam
to find his own voice.
This
combined with his songwriting creates a
raw sound that rips through the amp,
helping to set GREEN DOOR CLINIC
aside from most other Glasgow bands.
