Steven McKay (aka Stevo) has been a member of GREEN DOOR CLINIC for six months. Stevo, a longtime friend of the band's founder members, was drafted in originally as a temporary guitarist until the band auditioned for a permanent member. However, from the first rehearsal it was clear Stevo was to be the permanent member, with a clear understanding of the band's direction, and almost instinctive knowledge of their material, it wasn't long before he was officially confirmed as a full-time member.

Stevo has been playing guitar for nine years, stating his influences as Angus Young, Jimmy Page, and Johnny Greenwood. His solid and reliable rythm playing, strong and catchy lead, combined with harmonius backing vocals, give GREEN DOOR CLINIC an added dimension that sets them apart from the rest of the bands currently involved in the Glasgow scene.

Stevo hopes a bright future lies ahead with GREEN DOOR CLINIC with his main ambition being to gain a record deal with a major label and, along with the other members, be one fifth of the most exciting live band around for many years to come.
