SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE
APRIL 23,2005
On April 23rd the GREENBRIER VALLEY BASS ANGLERS  made the trip back into
Virginia and onto SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE hoping to find some bigger fish.
With air temps in the high 50's and falling and the wind picking up throughout the day,
even our anglers that had some experience on this lake struggled.
There were no pictures available at this time but there were a few fish brought to the
scales. Seven to be exact.
Randy  Fox  brings in 3 bass weighing  10 pounds and 11 ounces including the big fish a     4 pound and 15 ounce largemouth for the tournament. This not only tightened up the Angler Of The YEAR RACE but gives him the Lunker Of The Year  award lead..
Marcus Galford  also weighed in 3 bass but only had 6 pounds and 1 ounce but maintaining
his points lead for now.
Kevin Fox scratched out on good bite for  a smallie weighing in at 3 pounds and 1 ounces.

With Randy and Marcus threatening to make this a 2 horse race the rest of the club is looking for answers.
