Breeding
If you have 2 anoles of opposite sex, plenty of heat and food then they may breed.  Firts the male will puff up his body, and it will look like he is doing push-ups, then he will extend a red flap of skin under his chin.  If the female is ready to mate she will allow the male to get ontop of her.  The male often bites the females neck, don't worrie it is normal.  The male will then grab onto the female and touch the base of his tail to the base of her's.  Do not diturb the lizards if they are mating.  If they mated succesfully then in 2-3 weeks the female will start depositing 1-2 eggs a week for a few weeks.  If you see an egg take it out of the tank, put it in a butter container ontop of moist soil and poke holes in the top.  Put this container back into the cage in a warm spot, but not in the direct heat.  Be shure to keep the soil moist and don't move the egg anymore then you have to.  Then in about a month the egg will hatch if cared for properly.  Put the babie(s) in a separate cage and feed them pinhead crickets, (baby crickets).  Once the babies get bigger they can be added to the other tank.
Behavior
Anoles are very fast lizards that can jump from leave to leave with ease.  Some anoles will tolerate handling and some won't.  If your lizard will let you handle him/her then you should do it a little more and more every day then it will become more tame.
GOOD LUCK!
