Greenalls F.c was formed in 1963 and was formerly the local Greenalls local Brewery team. Greenalls played in the Warrington and District Football league for many years.

In the year 2002/03 Greenalls were approached by Padgate St. Oswalds who played in the Mid Cheshire League division 2 about the possibility of merging teams. The Merger was then agreed and in place for the forthcoming 2003/04 season.

Greenalls St. Oswalds now play in the Mid Cheshire League division 2.
