Once Darius could walk, Herios returned to the Realm of the Gods, leaving the woman and their son back in the mortal world. Description: A Pern RPG. Every inhabitant of Pern remembers the time of F'lar and Lessa. A time like that has come again. Six hundred turns have passsed since F'lar was Weyrleader of Benden, and once again the Weyrs have fallen out of favor with the Lord Holders. The dragonriders have devoted themselves to training for thread, though the belief that it will return is fading. They also send out patrols, trying to map all of Pern. A queen egg hasn't been layed for over ten turns, and the Sr. Weyrwoman of Benden is getting anxious, her Faith hadn't lain a queen egg for several turns, and the Sheva's Kaith hadn't layed a queen egg in her last several clutches at Fort Weyr. With the population of the two remaining Weyrs down to 200 riders each, the leaders of the Weyrs pray that thread will not return soon, but the Red Star rises higher each sevenday, reminding the Weyrs of how little time they might have... But a young girl has surfaced. Riana has been brought to the attention of the Weyrleaders. She had the ability to speak to all dragons, and the Weyrleaders cared for her. After all, weren't HAD's good luck? And thus, it begins...
