The 400 year old "Highlander". He lived in Seacouver, Wash. and Paris with his lover Tessa Noel. He only kills when he has to and has a old warrior sense of honor. Mac, as most call him, is an excellent swordsman.
Tessa Noel
Duncan's mortal lover. Tessa is an artist from France. She spent 12 years with Duncan, but only found out about his immortallity when she moved in with him.
Richie Ryan
Young Richard Ryan spent his youth being shuffled between foster homes and living on the streets of Seacouver. When he was 18 he broke into MacLeod and Noel Antiques. He found out about Immortals and moved in with Mac. Later he "died" for the first time and became Mac's student.
Joe Dawson
Joe is Duncan's Watcher. His job is to record what Mac does and who he kills but never interfere. He breaks the rules, however, and he becomes friends with Duncan and Richie.
Methos (Adam Pierson)
The oldest living Immortal he is over 5000. He masquerades as a watcher researching his own legend. He has long standing enemity with Immortal prophetess Cassandra from his days pillaging, murder, etc. as one of the Four Horsemen.
Amanda
She is an Immortal over 1000. Although she has an off-and-on relationship with Duncan, their romance is often complicated by her criminal tendencies.
