| Zack Whimbush was born in Washington, GA., but later moved to Denver, Colorado and attended Montbello/Central high schools where he was a three-time letter winner.He has been recognized with many other awards and honors. He aslo received praise from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona where he played WR and DB and he was also was the team captain. In the spring of 2000, Whimbush signed with the University of Northern Colorado as a defensive back. After a prosperus 2000 year at UNC, he participted in the pro football scouting combine were he received a score of 8.3 (pro potential). Unforturnately he was side-lined the 2001 season due to a torn ACL. In 2002, he coached at Northridge High School were he was the assistant head coach for the freshman team (OC and Co-DC). In December 2002 he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from UNC.
