| Name: Maetis Species: Elf Age: 125 Height: 5'11" Build: He's lean -- He's got that typical elf delicacy that they all seem to have, but he's also muscular. Fairly sharply defined muscles, too. He has long limbs and fingers, and he has broad shoulders. He has a very natural-yet-regal posture. Singing Voice: Brandon Boyd of Incubus. Songs of particular note include Make Yourself, Echo, Blood on the Ground and Aqueous Transmission. Personality and Such: Maetis is.... well, he's a bit of a loner. This isn't something he does on purpose, he just happens to think that more people than not are fairly stupid. And while he's able to bite his tongue and keep quiet, he has trouble keeping his patience when he actually has to talk to these people. He doesn't get angry, instead choosing bitter sarcasm or rudeness. He also has some issues getting close to people. If he likes them, he'll try, but... yeah. Very hard for him. Because of this, most people, even his friends, don't know much about him. That said, he comes across as a very strong person. And he is. He has a dominant sort of personality, and people tend to listen when he speaks. He usually steers clear of elf territory, and as such, spends his time mostly in human cities when he's not in the countryside. While he doesn't mind people knowing that he's an elf, he prefers not to advertise it, so he'll often wear a hooded cloak (not pictured, unfortunately.) He tends to be fairly protective of people he cares about, and will go very much out of his way to make sure that they're safe. He's also a good fighter -- He's had formal training from a very young age, and this shows in his precision. He doesn't, however, especially enjoy fighting. Sparring is fine, but fighting is something he'd rather avoid. And yet, he won't avoid fighting at all costs, and sometimes he has trouble seeing another solution. (It's kinda hard to explain. Hopefully you get my meaning.) He's especially good at using a staff, and at hand-to-hand grappling type stuff. As a random point, elves are a little bit faster and lighter on their feet than humans. Maetis is also fairly strong. He also likes to draw, not that most people notice this -- he doesn't usually show other people his stuff. But he is pretty good. He's got this cool flowy and simplistic-yet-realistic style that I wish I could imitate. He draws mostly with characoal, and draws mostly from real life, or fanciful versions of real life events.
