| Name: Badri Species: Human Age: 21 Height: 5'7" Build: Badri's... Well, he's lean. He's got nice muscles, fairly well defined (particularily on his back) but not so well defined that they're gross. He's definately "pretty," though not especially girly. Pretty in that "guy" way. (But honestly, if you stuck him in drag? He'd pass as a pretty hot woman.) Singing Voice: Daniel Greaves of The Watchmen. Particular songs of note include Absolutely Anytime, Run and Hide, Dance Some More and Anything but That. Personality and Such: Badri is, quite frankly, a GIGANTIC slut. If someone is attractive to him and interested? He'll be ALL over them. Needless to say he does a lot in the one-night stand department. He does tend to make sure that the person that he's with KNOWS it's a one-night stand, though. Badri's also pretty damned good at the sex thing. He's bisexual, but I think he prefers men more. Profession-wise, Badri is a bounty hunter. He's quite good, but he works 'freelance.' (I can't think of a better word for it. ><) That is, he finds out that someone has a bounty on their heads (by wanted poster, or word-of-mouth or whatever) and he goes and gets them, and THEN he seeks payment. He doesn't go to the person offering the bounty and tell them he'll "get the job done" because it could be dangerous for him if he, you know, can't. Also, if he is CERTAIN that the bounty-head is innocent, he won't collect that bounty, since collecting a bounty for him usually means killing the person in question. I should also note that the bounties he collects tend to be ones that are worth a fair bit of money, and are more dangerous. (Murderers, etc.) Badri's fighting looks quite a bit like dancing, because thought he is kinda strong, he's not *really* strong. Most of his fighting ability comes from his agility. (He's VERY agile.) He's one of those guys that can do flips and stuff to avoid hits. He moves pretty quickly. His weapons are slicing weapons, which really help him out. (He's also proficient with a spear, but he doesn't really like 'em.) He also isn't a big fan of "blunt" fighting; that is, he doesn't often do things like punch people. I mean, he CAN, but it's not really his style (Unless he's play-fighting with a friend or something.) The buckles on his thighs there are where he sheathes his weapon things when he's not using 'em. He also carries a couple of daggers with him, which he can use as throwing or close-range weapons. When Badri goes on a hunt for a bounty, he looses the headband and the vest, and slicks his hair back (With mud or water) because it makes him quieter, and also keeps things like his vest from getting snagged on things in a fight. Badri's pretty fun-loving, and is pretty casual in a lot of ways. He also loves books, and good stories. It's not something that a lot of people know, mostly because it's pretty hard for him to GET books (And when he does get them, he can't KEEP them) but yeah. He keeps a running journal, a little leather-bound book that he carries around in his vest. In it, he puts stories he hears (Giving proper credit to whomever he heard it from) as well as stuff about his life. Badri has a small little scar on his left hip, and a crisscrossing of scars on both sides of his right ankle. He also has a small tattoo on the base of his neck, just below the hairline. (If you want or need to know what that looks like, ask, and I'll draw it.) Badri also has a bit of magic. Before he learned to control it, it was a bit of a problem, because he'd project his emotions onto everyone around him. Not so they FELT the way that he feels, but so that they were VERY aware of what he was feeling. Currently, he has that so under control, that controlling it is a subconscious action, like breathing, or digesting. He has learned that he can use this magic to "suggest" things to people. (ie; he can make them think that they heard a noise, or saw something, or even feel something that they didn't.) But mostly, he doesn't use his magic because he thinks it's cheap. And also, using it makes him tired. He can make someone think they're seeing someone, and the person they're seeing can be totally real, BUT for an illusion that complex, Badri would pass out after five or ten minutes (Unless he had something else going for him, like massive amounts of adrenaline.) The reference picture below is... pretty damned crappy, but it does show what his costume, and his weapons look like. Facially, it is NOT accurate, at ALL. So here are some other pictures of him: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 |
