Greats’ center mid Qunjie who has just recovered from a long ankle injury, was spotted making his way to party on late Friday (16/11/07) night.
Qunjie left training ground together with ShangWei immediately after training, while the remaining players such as Guofeng, YongRen, Wujie, Yuanjie and Zhongren had supper with club manager William and Irene. But somehow, around midnight, Qunjie was spotted by our insider, leaving his house for a party.
When asked about Qunjie partying, several players were rather amazed by it.
Wujie commented that “We invited him for supper that night but he said that he got to go home. My first impression was that he and ShangWei did not want to take cab (YongRen’s all time favorite public transport) with YongRen and wanted to save some money. So, he was actually going for a party instead.”
Yuanjie also added “I only heard rumours that Zhanrong went to party and was not joining us for training that night but it never came across my mind that Qunjie was actually the one planning to go party. No wonder they (Qunjie and ShangWei) were behaving rather secretively and left early.”
This would mean that Qunjie will be the 4th Greats’ player to be spotted partying, joining the Night Hunter Gang consisting of Kenneth (gang head), Zhanrong (runner) and Zhongren (member).
Coincidentally, earlier during soccer training, Kenneth picked up an ankle injury as well and left early. Hence, there were speculations that it was all planned and possibilities of Qunjie went partying together with Kenneth.
Also, it seems that the Night Hunter Gang is treating partying as the latest form of physiotherapy (Kenneth – shoulder, Zhongren – knee, Zhanrong – special case, Qunjie – ankle).
Therefore, does this mean that YongRen who just recovered from his ankle injury as well will be joining the gang soon?
Everything still remains a mystery.
