Greatz FC Beats British Club FC

The team was greeted with the pleasing greeneries Turf City offers in the morning, we were all naturally hyped-up for the game with British Club. All eyes were on Guofeng our right back blessed with intermittent lightning pace who celebrated his birthday over the week.

The match went underway with both sides possessing equal time on the ball, no obvious threat was seen until our birthday boy proved his point, with a vigilant shot only to hit both sides of the bar. Substitution was made to rest the tired feet and it proved useful when Messina finally got a goal up with a well-taken shot by Captain Reliable. We continued to spray attacks in the second half and managed to gain a 2- goal advantage with a fast-taken corner by Jian cong that found vice-Captain No.5 who rammed the ball to the top corner.

Opponents found a consolation in the dying minutes of the match and Messina bagged the 3points well securing our position in the league.

A celebratory day for the 2 captains and for our birthday boy who is quite contented that his shot touches opposite sides of the bar - a feat that is hard to come by. :)
