With the Annual General Meeting coming soon (16th Feb) and during which, the all time prestigious annual Most-Valuable-Player award to be handed out, many of the players are tipping Captain Fu to win the award.
Things did not look good for Greats FC during season 6 (JAN- JUNE 07) and was relegated to DIV 4. However, manager William and captain Fu inspired Greats back to DIV 3 in style with 10 wins and 1 draw in season 7(JULY ?DEC 07) and claiming an automatic promotion (2nd in the division).
Captain Fu has been inspiring throughout the year, topping our MOM chart, popping in the goals and also proudly maintained his 100% penalty conversion rate. However, other players such as captain wannabe Guofeng and party-boy Zhanrong also have an outside chance of winning the MVP 07 award. Guofeng has been actively socializing with the team and gaining popularity fast while Zhanrong demonstrated his very own special 𡞫runken-feet?in title-decider game against BNP, thus giving the award committee a very hard time to decide.
Without doubt, it was a rewarding and much enjoyable year for Greats FC, finally winning other glory besides winning the 𡌃SPZEN FAIRPLAY?for season 6. So far nothing been decided yet and the moment of truth will only be announced on 16th Feb.
