Greatz Winger "Long" set sight to return on December

Having been out of action for ˇ§national dutyˇ¨ since Last December, we catch up with Long, from Taiwan.

The winger returned for a brief holiday back in June and featured on the bench in one game last season. Even though he made a scoring return, his fitness was openly criticised by the team manager and fellow players.

ˇ§Well you know, I must admit was a little fat coming back into the game, but I feel good (in the game).ˇ¨

Weighing a whopping 80kg back in June, Long has since shed off the excess by at least 6kg. Remarkable! We ask the winger what secret has he to do the feat.

ˇ§Well you know, I hit the gym and did quite some running whenever I have the time. Sheer determination and discipline is very important. On top of that, Iˇ¦m thinking about football, football, and football.ˇ¨

ˇ§But the best and most enjoyable workout has got to be sex. No kidding! So I believe everyone should have an active sex partner not just for pleasure, but to keep their minds and body alive.ˇ¨

The Greats currently have five wingers competing for a place in the team. How is the Number 7 looking at the dilemma his manager is facing?

ˇ§Having many players will mean less individual playing time. But nobody can be bigger than the team. I am of the belief that the manager will select who he thinks is best for the sake of the team.ˇ¨

ˇ§For now, all I can do is work on my fitness. The challenges ahead are difficult, but I am confident of overcoming them. When Iˇ¦m back, the other wingers will have to work even harder to keep me out of the team (laughs)!ˇ¨

The winger is keen to express his delight at the current form of his team in the ESPZEN League Division 4. Physically away in the Far East does not keep his attention off from how Greats Football Club has been performing.

ˇ§Every weekend I will catch up with Mr. 5 on how the team has done or just visit the League website to view the results.ˇ¨

ˇ§Iˇ¦m absolutely thrilled for the team! They have done brilliantly to sit proudly at the top of the table. But complacency should never be allowed in our game. Letˇ¦s hope I can be in time to celebrate with the rest of the team in December.ˇ¨
