| Anderson (Salvo) was a star recruit to the team in the mid-70s. His ability to baffle the opposition with his witty repartee, includes such classic comments such as "I am going to snap that c#nt". Rookie of the year in 1975, Salvo picked up the player of the match award in the grand final. The trophy of course being the now infamous red, white and blue shots at the sponsors premises. The question over Anderson's sexuality (as seen from the above photo), will be answered by someone far braver than me, as even 12,000 miles of water is not far enough. |
