From Brenda Seekins: The Blickers, Carl & Linda arrived promptly in the Narrows ready for the annual boat parade. As Usual, BJ Frosch was our organizer trying to keep tabs on more than a dozen boats and barges for an afternoon of parading and partying. Ralph and Barbara Caverly enjoyed the parade from their dock on the Upper Pond accompanied by Licorice, their dog. Rufus, the yellow lab, was aboard a barge with Leigh and Betty Grant, but kept his eye on the chihuahua in the next boat. You may have read about this little exchange in the fall newsletter. Rafting up... this is just the beginning of everyone rafted up for the arternoon on the Upper Pond to share music, conversation and food. Don and Betty Childs arrived with their daughter and grandchildren for the parade. |
