| I rescued my first Great Dane "Sarah" in 1999 from a local animal shelter..I needed to do more to help this wonderful breed of dog, so I started volunteering with the Great Dane Rescue's in Colorado. I started out fostering some of the Danes in need. I eventually ended up being the new mommy to two more I was fostering "K2" and "Tess" as its very hard to place them into homes due to the age of one and unknown temperment of the other. Here it is 2003 and I am very loved by all 3 and have even added a Min Pin "Sabastien" to the family. I have 1 cat named "Cannan" and had lost my other cat this year to FUS. | SPECIAL DEDICATION TO MY HUSBAND |
| None of my rescue work or the happiness I have with my pets could have ever been possible with out my wonderful, loving husband. He delt with my fosters tearing up his home, kicking him out of bed to sleep in his spot, slobber spots on the floor, the yard being tornapart, blood in the house from fosters coming in with medical issues you name it he delt with it to make me happy. I love him very much and thank him for his understanding and the love he showed for my fosters and my own pets. Your a GREAT husband. |
