Graduate Students in Dance is a loosely knit group of graduate students committed to a wide range of historical and theoretical issues influencing today's dance community. The group formed during the Dancing in the Millennium conference held in Washington D.C. July 19-23, 2000 for the purpose developing a network for students who often find themselves limited to the resources offered by a single school or department.
