    9 children of the Hudsons were on board, 5 daughters and 4 sons, only 2 sons survived. I assume the 7 Hudson children were all buried in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Paspebiac, Quebec; even though, James Elliot Hudson, his wife and children, York Eldon, Anna Maria Searle and Francis Austin Peel are recorded on the tombstone in Paspébiac.

    Mrs. Keast/Heast, who was going to visit her son, Mr. Hawkins in Toronto - lost

    Captain Bucket, his wife and child (baby?) - lost

One newspaper report refers to a baby lost, so the Bucket child must have been an infant.

    Mr. and Mrs. Smith, (Coach maker) he a survivor, she, lost. This makes him the surviving steerage passenger. Mr. Smith relates his story to the newspaper and travelled on the schooner "Mariall which was wrecked also.
