This is my first webpage, so I hope it works. For a science major I am hopelessly low tech and perversly enthralled by the totally unprovable subject of myth. I am really looking forward to this class because it will give me a chance to daydream and say that I'm doing homework. Since compulsive homework is one of my mythological behaviors, second to eating and before everything else, I'm glad to have a fun subject.
I have been a fan of the Tolkien myths since my mom read the Lord of the Rings trilogy to me as a bedtime story. So, when I found this name generator I was really excited. I am lucky to share my elvish name, Galadriel, with the Lady of Light.
On a more mundane level, my real name comes from the old Hebrew word for lily. The meaning of the lily is usually linked with purity in one form or another. I'm not sure I fit my name in that sense.
I like lilies, but having recently lived in the South one of my very favorite flowers is the Magnolia, which symbolizes a love of nature.
Since part of my group description is caves I thought I would add this site. The caves I am most fascinated by are the sea caves because I come from a family of sailors, some of whom met their end at the hands of pirates.
