Biomech is my latest comic endevour and is a story which starts in the year 2200 in the middle of a war between the Empire of Earth and the Kirsch aliens. The comic is set around the character General Pheonix, an RC-90 model robot who is on the front line of the war. He and his men fight against the Kirsch on the barren surface of the moon where it would be too difficult for any people to fight. Unfortunately things do not go to plan, someone underestimated the power of the Kirsch army and soon Pheonix and his men are forced to use an ancient and mysterious alien teleporter in order to escape annhilation.
To the right is the origional character sketch of General Pheonix who is the main character in the comic. I decided to draw the character as a mixture of organic and synthetic designs. You can see this in the torso where i have used a rib cage and spine which in this case are made out of plastics and hard metal alloys. The robot bears a distinct similarity to the shape of a person save for the lack of skin and organs and also the large point on the back of the robot's head. Inside the head is a complex mass of living, artificially grown brain and new glass based optical laser ciruits. The machine takes in visual information through the black glass plate on it's face which directs light onto a 100 Giga pixel digital video unit which transmits amazingly accurate visual information to the robot's biomechanical brain.
The other pictures on this page are also concept pictures i drew before starting the acctual comic. These pictures were all drawn with a dipping pen and ink which has to be the most horrible and useless way to ever draw with ink so now i draw the comic with a large number of pens of all sizes and shapes which makes the comic a damn sight easier to draw and means that it should be finished a lot quicker than i thought.

I decided that this comic would be a combination of all my favourite insiprations and ideas and so created a world set in the distant future with amazing technology of it's own. I wanted a world governed by one flag and united for a global cause.
The next idea i drew into the comic was my love of sci fi and space and set the scene for a battle in space followed by lovely pictures of alien buildings and their technology. I like the idea that in this comic i will be able to make up different looks and feels for design, language, architechture, art, and all things associated with my newly created alien races: the Kirsch and the ancient aliens who built the teleporters. Later in the story Pheonix will have master the art of using teleportation and time travel to meet these ancient aliens as well as hundreds of other races in his journey to find out how to stop the fall of the empire of earth. Generatl Pheonix will take the reader on and adventure through time, space in his quest and i am overjoyed to have such an interesting character and story line to write about. i really hope it is liked when i have finished. I hope everyone who reads this will be interested enough to buy a copy, remeber that all my comics are available from my online shop
