Mike Pearson has been in Morningside Psychiatric Center ever since his friend Reggie had rescued him from The Tall Man and his Minions. Reggie imploded his house and the explosion took the Dwarves with it, but The Tall Man escaped. Mike had been telling wild stories about flying killer silver Spheres, Hooded Dwarves, Spacegates that lead to other worlds, etc. and he even said that The Tall Man was responsible for the death of his older brother Jody. One day, when Mike is 19 years of age, he talks to the Clinic and tells them that his frightening and nightmarish visions were just his imagination and he had trouble telling fantasy from reality. The Clinic believes him, and they let him free.
However, once he's free, he doesn't exactly go back home. Instead, he goes to a Cemetery where Reggie meets him and drives him to Reggie's house.
Too bad for Reggie, that The Tall Man imploded his house and killed his entire family. Reggie soon believes Mike that The Tall Man is back and more dangerous than ever, and Mike is desperate to rescue a beautiful young girl named Liz who he keeps seeing in his dreams and realizes that she is in great danger.
Mike & Reggie break into an abandoned hardware store where they grab some weapons, ammunition and items and they even illegally customize some weapons of their own. Armed to the teeth with MakeShift weaponry, which includes a Quadruple-Barreled Shotgun, MakeShift Flamethrower, Power Drill, ChainSaw, and more, these two are ready to fight to the death, avenge their families deaths, rescue Liz, and defeat The Tall Man once and for all. Mike & Reggie drive to the town of Perigord where they pick up an attractive female hitchhiker named Alchemy and pick her up in order to protect her. Mike & Reggie are searching for Liz around Perigord Mortuary and Cemetery. Mike finds Liz around Perigord Cemetery after she escapes from the Mortuary. They bring her to safety over at an old and abandoned Bed & Breadfast their using as a hideout. Liz is kidnapped by The Tall Man while Mike & Reggie are downstairs investigating a loud booming sound. Mike & Reggie run after The Tall Man with their arsenal and make it to Perigord Mortuary in hopes of finding Liz in good shape and saving her, but it won't be easy. The flying silver Spheres are back, cranium drills, barb blades, member saws and all, and a new gold Sphere loaded to the gills with all sorts of weaponry, such as acidic power drills, piercing lasers, plasma scanners, and more. Add super-strong, ChainSaw-bearing Gravers, hatchet-wielding caretakers, and nasty Hooded Dwarves, and Mike & Reggie are faced with an incredible challenge. Will they make it along with Liz? Or will they just become Trophies in The Tall Man's neverending collection of Corpses? |
