History
The
Quatre-G Farm began in 1973, the year we
acquired our first Canadian horses. I instilled
in my eldest daughter Mireille the love of
horses.
Our
beginning were based on family excursions,
followed by parades and competition. This
brought us to become stockbreeder of Canadian
horses in 1978.
I
based myself on the line of Henryville because,
these horses have a calm and hard-working
temperament, ideal for children. Later, we chose
the line of Felix, for its elegance and size. In
the Nineties, we bridled some mares with Julo
Royal and Julo Azure because they gave more
refined offspring. Towards the end of the
Nineties we returned to the line of Henryville,
that of Mr. Roger Catudal who was closest
to that of Henryville Elite.
What
we seek is a horse which has courage, who never
gives up and whose conformation is flexible and
elegant. Some are calmer for children, others
give you the performance of an athlete for
competitions and marathons. In fact, these are
the characteristics that our criteria are based
on at the Quatre-G Farm.
Since
2004, my daughter Mireille took our breeding and
the name will change to Have-Luck Stables.
My
wife and I wish her much success, and anticipate
that our 30 years of breeding of this invaluable
inheritance will be continued with the same
passion and prosperity!
