But the most crucial element in any understanding of Nazism is the extent to which it deliberately activated the religious impulse in the German people. It elicited an emotional as well as a cerebral response, uniting, in its own depraved fashion, both hearts and minds. It became a fully fledged religion, and as such, it redeemed post-First World War Germany from the purgatory of meaninglessness. It was the religious dimension of Nazism that inspired the dynamism, the hysterical fanaticism, the demonic energy and ferocity which so transcended the parallel totalitarian movements in Italy and Spain. One could plausibly argue that the Third Reich was the first state in Western history since Rome to be based ultimately not on social, economic or political principles, but on religious principles... This is very accurate. Would it have been less accurate if "feminist" replaced "Nazi" and "the West" (or "the English-speaking world") replaced "Nazi Germany"? Feminism is a totalitarian religion that controls the west today. They have not only started their own religion,[12] as did the Nazis (with the *True* feminist/Nazi religion[13] being to the outer religion as Catholicism is to Christianity), but have taken over the other religions, mostly Christianity (Protestant[7] and Catholic[8] alike), and to pervert them[9] or destroy them[21]. The Feminist religion is backed by the uppermost government and corporate powers, who give power to feminism.[10] Feminism is, as is fitting for it's position as the opposite of Christianity, based on the oppression of the poor by the rich, the male by the female. Even the feminists recognise the links between feminism and Nazism, as do the Nazis.[2] Both are hate movements, with the objects of their hate as Jews and men[4]. Feminists, like Nazis, feel themselves oppressed by those they oppress[11].

Like the Nazis, the feminists have taken over the government and the media[14] by intimidation and infiltration and used the media to persuade people to agree with them, using the government as an authoritative source that agrees with them[15]. Like the Nazis, they are spreading lies about their enemies as an excuse for genocide. Also the Nazi mythology about an ancient Aryan civilisation brought down by inter-racial intermingling with the Jews[16] has similarities with the feminist mythology about an ancient matriarchal civilisation brought down by patriarchal invasion by men[17], who they consider naturally inferior[5]. The both have "archaeological evidence" (found by a special SS team of pseudo-archaeologists for the Nazis[18] and by Marija Gimbutas (who was, incidentally, taught by Nazi ethnologists in the '30s[19]) et al for the feminists) found near the Baltic.

The enemies of Christianity and those enemies that claim themselves to be Christians often claim that Hitler was a Christian.[20] Hitler himself claimed to be Christian, as a political maneuver as the leader of a Christian country. He would have to convert the population before letting them in on his belief that he was the "Nordic Messiah"[6], come to rid the world of the inferiour races. He wasn't a Christian.

The event was a panel on "Lesbianism as a Personal Politic" that took place in New York City, Lesbian Pride Week 1977. A self-proclaimed lesbian separatist had spoken. Amidst the generally accurate description of male crimes against women came this ideological rot, articulated of late with increasing frequency in feminist circles: women and men are distinct species or races (the words are used interchangeably); men are biologically inferior to women; male violence is a biological inevitability; to eliminate it, one must eliminate the species/race itself (means stated on this particular evening: developing parthenogenesis as a viable reproductive reality); in eliminating the biologically inferior species/race Man, the new Ubermensch Womon (prophetically foreshadowed by the lesbian separatist * herself) will have the earthly dominion that is her true biological destiny. We are left to infer that the society of her creation will be good because she is good, biologically good. In the interim, incipient SuperWomon will not do anything to "encourage" women to "collaborate" with men--no abortion clinics or battered woman sanctuaries will come from her. After all, she has to conserve her "energy" which must not be dissipated keeping "weaker" women alive through reform measures.

The audience applauded the passages on female superiority/male inferiority enthusiastically. This doctrine seemed to be music to their ears. Was there dissent, silent, buried in the applause? Was some of the response the spontaneous pleasure that we all know when, at last, the tables are turned, even for a minute, even in imagination? Or has powerlessness driven us mad, so that we dream secret dreams of a final solution perfect in its simplicity, absolute in its efficacy? And will a leader someday strike that secret chord, harness those dreams, our own nightmare turned upside down? Is there no haunting, restraining memory of the blood spilled, the bodies burned, the ovens filled, the peoples enslaved, by those who have assented throughout history to the very same demagogic logic?

In the audience, I saw women I like or love, women not strangers to me, women who are good not because of biology but because they care about being good, swept along in a sea of affirmation. I spoke out because those women had applauded. I spoke out too because I am a Jew who has studied Nazi Germany, and I know that many Germans who followed Hitler also cared about being good, but found it easier to be good by biological definition than by act. Those people, wretched in what they experienced as their own unbearable powerlessness, became convinced that they were so good biologically that nothing they did could be bad. Rosemary Radford Ruether is probably the best-known spokeswoman for that movement, and is regularly allowed to speak under Catholic auspices. Here is some of what she says:

Woman-Church means neither leaving the church as a sectarian group, nor continuing to fit into it on its terms. It means establishing bases for a feminist critical culture and celebrational community that have some autonomy from the established institutions....It means some women might worship only in alternative feminist liturgies; others might do so on a regular basis, while continuing to attend liturgies in traditional parishes into which they seek to inject something of this alternative....

Only if some groups work intensely and exclusively on imagining an alternative culture in a way that cannot be controlled or limited by patriarchal culture, but also are in dialogue and interaction with women within the institutions who can then adapt and make use of what is being developed in alternative communities does the possibility of genuine transformational dialectic take place. One must refuse the institutionally defined options either of continuing on its terms or of cutting of all connection with it and becoming sectarian and hostile to those who are working within established institutions.

In scholarly terms what is outlined above is a call for cadres of revolution both outside the institution and fifth columns within.

Weishaupt felt personal satisfaction when he was able to deceive a Christian into believing his lies. But as you notice, not even occultists have any respect for Christians that are not true to their faith. They are only good to be used and made fun of behind their backs.

The central banqueting hall contained a vast round table with 13 throne-like seats to accommodate Himmler and 12 of his closest 'apostles' - making, as some occult writers have pointed out, a coven of 13. Briefly, the creed of the Thule society inner circle is as follows: Thule was a legendary island in the far north, similar to Atlantis, supposedly the center of a lost, high-level civilization. But not all secrets of that civilization had been completely wiped out. Those that remained were being guarded by ancient, highly intelligent beings (similar to the 'Masters' of Theosophy or the White Brotherhood). The truly initiated could establish contact with these beings by means of magic-mystical rituals. In Berlin, Haushofer had founded the Luminous Lodge or the Vril Society. The Lodge's objective was to explore the origins of the Aryan race and to perform exercises in concentration to awaken the forces of 'Vril'. Both Gurdjeiff and Haushofer maintained that they had contacts with secret Tibetan lodges that possessed the secret of the 'Superman'. Haushofer taught him the techniques of Gurdjieff which, in turn, were based on the teachings of the Sufis and the Tibetan lamas- and familiarized him with the Zen teaching of the Japanese Society of the Green Dragon.

Gimbutas was a curious character. A product of the German academic system of the '30s and '40s, she was heavily influenced by the German ethnologist Ernst Kassener and his theory of "culture circles" -- that is, waves of cultural influence radiating in great circles from a distantly ancient point of origin.
