Needs Assessment Committee
Committee Charge:
The Needs Assessment Committee of the Gratiot Collaborative Council shall plan/develop/implement needs assessment as required.


I. Define scope of needs assessment:
     Convene committee of community agencies/representatives if necessary and
     as needed to coordinate assessment, data, and available money.


II. Develop implementation plan:
     Set Timeline
     Recommend tool
     Delegate responsibility for implementation
          - implement process (identify technical assistance and outside sources)
          - final report with recommendations for action so the collaborative
            can determine funding
     Annual Review


Membership:
The committee shall consist of three to five persons appointed by the Gratiot Collaborative Council.  This term of office shall be for one year.  The committee shall appoint a chair/secretary for the one-year term.  This person will report committee progress to the GCC executive committee.


Staff:
The Prevention Coordinator shall provide support to the Needs Assessment Committee
