Executive Committee
Committee Charge:
The Executive Committee of the Gratiot Collaborative Council shall be responsible for providing oversight of the standing committees and work groups of the Gratiot Collaborative Council.

Duties:
     Work with staff to plan meeting objectives, agendas, and strategic planning.
      Request and obtain reports from work groups and initiatives established
           under the auspices of the GCC.
     Act on requests for grant endorsements when time does not permit waiting
           for the next GCC meeting.
     Make recommendations regarding the authorization of the expenditure of                    funds to the GCC, and authorize the expenditure of funds under
           guidelines established in Article VII of the By-laws.
     Other activities deemed appropriate by the GCC.

Other Duties:
     Meet monthly to review ongoing proposals

Membership:
The committee shall consist at least five persons appointed by the Chairperson of the GCC.  Members shall include the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, the immediate past Chairperson, and representatives from Article IV of the by-laws.

Staff:
The Prevention Coordinator shall provide support to the Executive Committee
