I excitedly showed Bob the brochure and asked if he wanted to try it...and of course he said YEAH. So I called the number and made a date for our adventure...
We met with Jeff, he does the snuba training and adventures, from the Silent World Dive Center in Key Largo. Soon we were addicted to diving !! Now to better understand what SNUBA diving is you will need to look at the following pictures as well as visit Silent World's website...but in a nutshell it's just like scuba diving only you don't have the tanks and all like you do in scuba. The air tanks float on a raft at the surface, and an air hose connectes to your regulator as you dive. A LOT OF FUN !!
We enjoyed SNUBA so much that we went back to Key Largo in June 1998 and got certified for SCUBA
( Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apperatus ) diving. We have done well over a dozen dives so far and loving every new adventure !!
