Photobucket, the world's best (IMHO) image hosting service, now has Bucketstrip, Bucketstamp, Bucketshow, Filmloop for your desktop, cell phone image uploading and more!
I went and took a few pictures of one of my gardens today before we got a huge thunderstorm, thought I'd share them with you via Photobucket's "goodies" just to give you an idea of what you can do with them.
All you need to do is log into your Photobucket Album, click the Bucket Features button and get started.
Here's an example of a BucketStrip. It's so easy! You select between 5 and 10 images, give your BucketStrip a name, click to create, choose between Flash and DHTML to generate your Bucketstrip code; copy and paste the url and you're off. Go ahead and click the little 'radio' buttons on the right hand side to watch the BucketStrip in reverse, change the order, etc.
Another very useful, cool and fun thing to do with your pictures. Warning: a BucketStamp can become hypnotic, waiting to see which picture gracefully twirls up and then back out. Which one will be next?!
BucketShow at first glance may look very similar to BucketStamp. The difference is the picture is larger and it's more of a "slideshow" that doesn't scroll across the screen. It's a polished look that would be great for showcasing your art, auctions, etc. Well, all of these would be great for that, just depends on your needs :)
