. Wrestling is from 12am to 6pm. The wrestling sessions cost �10 per person with to paid on the day. The next Long Eaton Grapevine submission wrestling day is on a Saturday July 12th 2008 at Unti 65 The Trent Business Centre Long Eaton from 12.00am to 18.30 pm. The next Alveston Grapevine submission wrestling day will be on Saturday 13th September 2008 at Alveston 1300am to 17.30 pm..
Long Eaton is near Nottingham and Derby just of Junction 25 of the M1 motorway. There is a wrestling venue for hire with its own mats. It has been featured in previous issues of the Grapevine newsletter and is also feature on the web site.
Long Eaton has a similar sized mat area if not slightly larger, to the mats used at Alveston.

To get to the Venue by car drive to Junction 25 of the M1 motorway. Take the Long Eaton exit on the large round about circling Junction 25 on the M1 Motorway. Drive to the end of that road on the mini-round about turn left onto the B6002. Carry on along the B6002 to the next mini-round about turn right into College Street.
Carry on along College Street turn left into Newstead Road (make sure you turn into Newstead Road and not Welbeck Road). If you are in Newstead road you should pass a school on your left. There is a sharp left hand bend on the junction with Bennet Street. Turn right into Bennet Street. Carry on along Bennet Street over several speed bumps. Canal Street is the fourth turn right along Bennet Street.
As you drive along Bennet Street you should see a large factory chimney ahead of you on your right. The Chimney is close by the Trent Business Centre in Canal Street. You will see a large red brick industrial building on your right with iron railing round it. Turn into canal Street, then turn right into the gateway of the Trent Business Centre.
On arrival at the Trent Business Centre if you have not been to Long Eaton before you will need to contact me so I can come down to the car park and let you and show you the way to unit 65.
Anyone travelling by Train can be collected form Derby or Long Eaton train stations.
Any wrestler wishing to come to the Grapevine Long Eaton Wrestling Day on who has not been to Long Eaton before and does not know how to get there, should let me know in advance so I can make sure they know the way there. Particularly those travelling by Train so I can let the wrestlers local to Long Eaton who will need to be collected
from either of the two local train stations.
I hope the turn out on the Long Eaton day will have a good turn out and be well supported. Long Eaton was chosen along with Alveston to give two different venues one of which will hopefully be convenient to wrestlers wish to attend a Grapevine Submission wrestling day.
Money raised by the Long Eaton Grapevine submission days will help to support the Long Eaton venue. The cost of attending the Long Eaton day will be the same as Alveston �10 per wrestler.
As Long Eaton is a private wrestling venue time is not as restricted as at Alveston. So wresting will be available form 12am to the official finishing time of 6pm. However the venue is hire for all day and wrestlers are welcome to stay and continue wrestling if they wish.
